1. Detailed production process of ready-made distilled Salangane’s Nest

All are processed by a fully automated production process. Experts at Kim Thien Thuy have to strictly follow all stages from cleaning to preparation and finally package the products. Here are the 6-step production process of ready-made distilled Salangane’s Nest of international standards:

Step 1: Clean the Salangane’s Nest

Input Salangane’s Nest will be thoroughly cleaned of feathers, impurities and washed with tap water at the RO water purification system.

Step 2: Inspect and sterilize the jars

The glass jars are inspected and sterilized before use; substandard jars will be discarded. Then these sterilized jars will be placed on the tray to put into the automatic line. These will be sent straight to the jar washing machine. Here the jars are turned upside down and cleaned with a high-pressure pure water jet. The jars are turned upside down so all the water will flow straight out.

Step 3: Distill Salangane’s Nest and pour into the jars

After cleaning, Salangane’s Nest will be cooked with other carefully-selected top-quality ingredients. Then the mixture is poured into the jars by a modern filling system with a preset volume to ensure uniform quality for each jar.

Step 4: Auto capping

Then the jars will be passed through the automatic capping line, the lids will be tightly pressed onto the glass jars. This process helps to keep the lid tightly closed, removing the air inside, keeping Salangane’s Nest 100% intact, unaffected by external environment as well as bacteria entering the jars.

Step 5: Inspect the jars for the first time and send them to the pasteurization room

To ensure that no impurities are mixed in, the staff will shake each jar to check before sending it into the pasteurization room. A team of experts are permanently stationed here to inspect the output right at the factory.

After checking that the jars are free of impurities, the Salangane’s Nest jars will be transferred to a high-pressure pasteurization oven to kill bacteria for 120 minutes.

Step 6: Inspect for the last time, print expiry date, label and package

The final stage in the production process of ready-made Salangane’s Nest: each jar will be inspected again and sent to print the expiry date, label, package and deliver to customers.

2. Ready-made distilled Salangane’s Nest meeting international standards

The production process of ready-made distilled Salangane’s Nest is carried out on a modern, standard, and self-contained automatic line. Salangane’s Nest is not manually distilled to avoid contaminated with harmful bacteria during preparation, because the habitat and nests of swiftlets are full of microorganisms. Therefore, if not completely sterilized, bacteria will multiply very quickly, affecting the quality and health of consumers. This allows Kim Thien Thuy’s Salangane’s Nest products, although no preservative is involved, can be preserved for longer while still ensuring absolute nutritional quality.
